What We Believe

God

The Gospel of Jesus Christ

The Gospel of Jesus Christ

There is only one God. The Bible’s basic teaching is that God is absolutely numerically one (Monotheism). Deuteronomy 6:4 says, “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our GOD [is] one LORD.” He is the creator of heaven and earth, and all living beings. There is one Living and True God, eternally existent, omnipotent, omnipresent, who reveals Himself to us in three primary manifestations: as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Jesus, as the Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit). Matt 1: 21-23; Matt 4 16-17; Matt 28:19; 1 Timothy 3:16

The Gospel of Jesus Christ

The Gospel of Jesus Christ

Jesus, the only begotten of the Father, conceived by the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a life free of sin and provided an example for us to follow. To pay the price for our sins, He willingly gave Himself up to death. Jesus was crucified, buried, and resurrected from the dead on the third day. He has ascended and will return for his saints. Matt 1:18-25; 1 Cor. 15: 1-4; Acts 1:9-11

Salvation

The Gospel of Jesus Christ

Salvation

Salvation is the free gift of God offered to man provided by Jesus Christ”s work on the cross and His resurrection from the grave. This grace from God is completely aside from human works. Ephesians 4:8-9, Romans 1:16, John 3:16. This free gift is received by faith. How does a person respond to the message of the Gospel? The answer is clearly given in one verse. Acts 2:38, “Then Peter said unto them, repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”

The Bible

The Apostle's Doctrine

Salvation

The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is the record of God’s revelation of Himself to man. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction. Therefore, all Scripture is totally true and trustworthy. 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20

The Apostle's Doctrine

The Apostle's Doctrine

The Apostle's Doctrine

We believe in the Apostle’s Teaching. Our fundamental faith and practices comes from The Apostle’s teachings, which were established before any church denomination was formed. Acts 2:42; Ephesians 2:20

Sin and its Penalties

The Apostle's Doctrine

The Apostle's Doctrine

Sin is the transgression of the law, or commandments of God (1 John 3:4). The guilt of sin has fallen upon all humanity from Adam until now (Romans 3:23). The wages of sin is death. (Romans 6:23)
